Laser Cutting… Um, Huh?
There are so many cute projects ideas on Pinterest/Etsy that wistfully call out to me… I’ve already started creating some of them with tools I collected over my years at art school. But there’s only so far you can push Exacto knives and Olfa blades!
To get the precision of line required for patterns and lettering, I knew I needed access to a real laser cutting machine. Rather than contracting out to a specialty shop that owns one, this frugal introvert perused cyberspace for an affordable desk-sized DIY laser cutter. After a lot of research I found one that seems to fit all my criteria. Lo and behold, meet my new Cricut Explore Air 2!
